Every block is squared against a template, and each finished face is checked with a straight edge before it leaves the yard. We hold clean bed lines and tight joint widths, so what arrives on site is stone already set up to go down fast and level.
Mortared Fieldstone Walls
Our masons build mortared fieldstone walls for retaining, garden, boundary and architectural purposes. We lay each course on a prepared footing, bonding stones for strength and packing the core with sized stone and mortar for durability. Joints are finished to match the character of your site, whether that is a smooth struck face or a more rustic troweled texture. The result is a wall that stands straight for years and drains water away from the mass rather than holding it.
Dry-Stack Landscaping Stone
For seat walls, terraces, edgers and planters, we offer dry-stack work set without mortar. Stones are jammed and tied course to course so the wall holds firm on its own weight while shedding water through its joints. This method lets the wall breathe, flex slightly under frost and stay remarkably easy to repair. We sort and orient every stone to give you a stable, good-looking wall that fits the natural grade of your yard.
Custom Hearths And Mantels
We fabricate monolithic hearths, slabs, treads and mantels sized to the exact opening of your fireplace or porch. Large stones are cut from single blocks so you get a seamless piece with no visible joints. We can soften edges, add a sanded finish or leave a natural cleft surface, matching the look you want while keeping a strong, safe bearing surface for the load above.
Stone Restoration And Repointing
Old masonry needs careful hands, not a wrecking bar. We restore aging walls, steps, bridges and foundations by matching original stone, bed type and joint profile. We rebuild failing sections, repoint crumbling mortar with a compatible mix and replace only the stones that cannot be saved. Our aim is to return each structure to full strength while keeping the patina and character that time has given it.
Delivery And Crane Setting
Large stone is heavy, and moving it safely is part of our job. We deliver stone on our own trucks and swing heavy blocks into place with our crane, setting them directly onto prepared beds. Our crews handle rigging, alignment and leveling on site, so the most awkward and dangerous lift is done by people who do it every week rather than by you and a borrowed machine.
